The Truth About The American Pit Bull Terrier and Dog Attack

Lets please be grown-up about the situation of dog attacks and tell the truth, the real story of dog attacks! I always see a news story, news paper or even people and family members, telling me about a pit bull attack. A little girl got attacked; a little boy got attacked, a man, a woman, policemen, postmen, a dog catcher and etc. Man I tell you the truth! I am tired of hearing about it, it makes my head spin, and I definitely get annoyed about keep hearing about this story. If I had a dollar for every time I heard it, I would be a rich man.  I am an American Pit Bull Terrier owner and I have never been attacked by my dogs or any other Pit Bull owner dogs.

But anyway! I am not saying that the pit bulls in those stories were not aggressive or down played what happened to these people in those stories. I am saying that, the pit bulls in those stories was raised to be aggressive or trained to be aggressive, there is a difference.  

First let me shed some light on the pit bull that was raised aggressive, the person who raised this dog either knew of his or her dog's aggressive behavior and did nothing to change it or knew about it and did not know how to go about it to get help for the dog's aggressive behavior. I tell you the truth, if you do not know anything about dogs? Then don't get a dog until you understand that a dog is ruled by a wolf pack rank system instinctively.

Which means, just like an army of soldiers, you have a general and under the generals rank you have soldiers lower in rank? In dog terms, the general is called the Alfa-male or pack leader and the soldiers are other dogs under him that forms a group of protection, called the pack. The pack leader is called the Alfa-male and is the stronger out of the pack and is promoted to pack leadership because of his most aggressive nature then the other dogs. Likewise, the generals skill and understanding to be successful is a must to be in charge. Now the pack leader can lose its pack leadership by another dog challenging his leadership and if the other dog is successful then the former pack leader is de-ranked and removed of his power to control the pack and is now placed in a new rank below him, and this is how the pack is govern.

So what I am saying is that if you want a Pit Bull or any dog, then please learn how the mind of a dog works and understand a dog is driven instinctively. A dog can't change and learn outside of its genetic instinct. But you can change how you view dogs and understand them, and then by understanding them, you will learn how to change the dog yourself. How you say?

Easy! You will have to become the pack leader, the Alfa-male or female. This is done by letting the Pit Bull or the dog know you are the boss and de-rank him and let the dog know you will be leading him and guiding him, what not to do and what to do.  And No, you will not talk to a dog like a human, talking to a dog like a human can only go so far, try body language and aggressive control on your dog, no don't beat him. I can't and won't go in detail to much about de-ranking a dog, but you can search on the internet about it or buy a book on de-ranking dogs or watch Cesar Millan, star of the Dog Whisperer" Google him. 

Moving on! The other dog was "trained to be aggressive," This dog's owner is aware of his or her Pit bull or Dog being aggressive, a matter of fact the owner provokes the dog to be aggressive. And if the dog is not that aggressive there is ways of bringing it out of him, like every playful encounter with you and the dog from a puppy stage, you would have to let him win every battle to boost his confidence, I am not going to tell you everything that aggressive dog owners go through to bring aggressive behavior out of their dogs. The point is dogs are not prone to be aggressive, unless you provoke them. Also my personal Impendent is that if you train your dog to be a guard dog and I don't think that is a problem for any dog to be a guard dog. But you need to be in control at all times, after all you are the pack leader and the dog is to be under your control, period!

I often think of thoughts of dog ownership and the responsibility of owners being in control of their pets at all times! But the greatest Ida within in my thoughts are the Ida of, these dog attacks are really cause by dog owners being too lazy to control them. And at the end of all of my emotion and swimming inside my head with scene after scene, it always bring me back too one thought, the simple truth is that maybe some people should not be able to be a dog owner!  Because if these stories were about patents teaching their child to kill and in result, the child becomes a murderer, then I ask you! Seriously who is in the wrong? Who should be blamed for this madness and corruption at the end of all of these stupid situations or should I say at the beginning of this soon to be nightmare?

If you want to fight dogs or teach a dog to attack someone and the dog does it, then you should take the reasonability for the dogs action, cases in point! An American Pit bull Terrier is not an evil fighting attack dog as the world views them. It is the human who is behind every Pit bull attack story you hear about. We as human's have always from the beginning of time destroyed everything that was once GOOD. With that said! There are many other breeds that have attacked many people and some cases kill them, that wasn't a Pit bull. But you will not hear about those dogs, because those dogs don't sell news papers fast as the evil fighting dog "American Pit Bull Terrier."  I wonder why the media would just report dog attack cases involving a Pit Bull more often than other breeds. I will tell you why, The reason for this, is the people who choose to fight American Pit Bull Terrier's and by fighting them, can win $80,000  in just one fight. Plus cars, houses and etc., the Idea's could be endless, you get my point!

The big picture, Is that if all these pit bull fighters are making huge amounts of money a year. Where does the government come into play, the answer is of course, the government does not benefit and cannot benefit from this huge money making plot And just like drugs on the street of United States can't be taxed, likewise, Pit Bull fighting. The truth is that the government had lean on the media to give birth to the Image of the evil fighting dog "American Pit Bull Terrier." Because of the Seuss of dog fighters making huge amounts of money and un-taxed money at that, the government wants to remove this strong hold to end dog fighting because of its lack of profit toward Uncle Sam, in short if the government can't make money then no one can. The fact is that people today believe in everything that the media or even TV in itself says. They can't use their own brain, which means that they will only agree with a group Opinion, rather than forming their own Opinions. Just like pieces of dominoes lined up in a row, the first piece is pushed over and the second piece repeats the first piece. Sending, the same result from the beginning to the end, while the person who created it stands in amazement of its destruction. Congratulations Uncle Sam you are winning!
